Lottery sends $20.1 Million in proceeds to education

MoLotteryThe Missouri Lottery today sent $20.1 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education. The monthly transfer of $20,136,891 is based on Lottery tickets sales in August, and it brings the total for fiscal year 2015 to $60.8 million.

Since Missouri Lottery sales started in 1986, the Lottery has generated more than $4.8 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY15 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri.

    I wonder how long it will take Nixon to scoop in and confiscate the money and take it away from schools so that he can hold it over the GOP’s head.
