S-C Lady Tigers beat Odessa in two sets

SCFierceTiger.BadgeNEW.jpegThe Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers won their match against Odessa 37-35, 25-15 Thusday.

The Tigers were led at the net with Abby Knight having 14 kills and 6 blocks. Montana Hedrick had six kills, 3 aces, 5 digs and 1 block.

Courtney Koetting had 15 assists, 3 kills, 10 digs, 1 ace, 1 block. Tori Jacobi added 13 assists and 2 kills.

Darby Simon had 4 kills and Emilee Edgar had 3 to top off a strong offensive performance. Brittany Borke played tough defensively, making many saves and serve receives.

The Tigers struggled a little in game one getting adjusted to a change in line up, but pushed through for the win.

They will play their first home game against Nevada on Tuesday at 5:00, with varsity at 7 p.m.
