Smithton man hurt in crash

MSHP-logo11Joshua J. Kateman, 25, Smithton, suffered moderate injuries Sunday night when his 2007 Honda motorcycle, traveling north on Highway 65 at its junction with Highway 765, crashed, according to a preliminary accident report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Accordidng to the patrol, the motorcycle went off the “right side of roadway before returning to the road, where it then slid across the center and traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.”

Kateman was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by the Pettis County Ambulance Service. Damage to the motorcycle was listed as moderate.
