S-C soccer Tigers score 4-3 win at Moberly

SCFierceTiger.BadgeNEW.jpegThe Smith-Cotton varsity soccer boys beat Moberly 4-3 in an ugly, but effective win, according to head coach Ethan Weller.

“Jordan Lawson was the man of the match, netting three goals, including the game winner. Vlad Varshitskyy also scored on a PK (penalty kick),” Weller added.

Lawson scored in the 8th minute assisted by Thomas Todd. Vlad Varshitsky scored in the 20th minute on a penalty kick. Lawson scored again in the 27th minute assisted by Carlos Aguirre. Lawson tallied the game winner in the 87th minute.

SC junior varsity beat Moberly 13-0.
