Gremlins celebrate fall sports season with pep rally

Pep-26Sacred Heart School held their fall sports rally Friday afternoon in the school gym, introducing the school’s football, soccer and volleyball teams and cheerleaders to the student body. The event was held in the dark, complimented by day-glo sticks, glowing hula hoops, lasers and a smoke machine.

New Sacred Heart Principal Dr. Gary Manning was welcomed to the school by taping him to the wall with duct tape.

The football Gremlins played St. Paul Lutheran at Concordia Friday night and lost 27-12. After four away games, the football Grems play Windsor at home for Homecoming on Saturday, Sept. 20.

The SH volleyball squad opens their regular season Monday, Aug. 25 at Hallsville.

The soccer Gremlins play in the Barstow Varsity Tournament Aug. 26, 28 and 30. They are scheduled to play KC Lutheran at home Sept. 2. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia Weekly Observer.
