20140802_195720Saturday evening Norman Horn of Philadelphia, Pa., was in Sedalia as he walks across the U.S. from San Francisco, Calif., to Atlantic City, NJ raising awareness and funds to fight childhood cancer.

The 30-year-old began this adventure four months ago and is about half way done. Along the way, he is staying in homes as it works out and camping overnight when he has no host available.

Here in Sedalia he stayed with Bill Beck. Dinner was served at the home of Greg and Kathleen Boswell. Early Sunday morning he headed out on U.S. Highway 50 to continue his trip to Tipton for that night and points east for the next two months. He has the trip planned to take six months and six days.
When he reaches Hershey, Pa., where a children’s cancer hospital is, he will be joined by young cancer patients and their families as he walks through that area.

So far he has raised $16,000 online and invites those he meets to become donors by going to his website www.Coast2CoastFTK.com.COAST 2 COAST 001
