A total of 218 young people are attending Camp Blue Sky on the SFCC campus this week. With a theme of ‘Jambo: African Arts Adventure,’ young artists are experimenting with the vibrant colors, textures and design of Africa.
A grand finale` will be performed for the public at 3:15 p.m. Friday. Wednesday’s theme was “Culture Capture” (dress-up day). Classes are for students in first through sixth grade. Camp Blue Sky was founded in 1998 by Barbara Cooney. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia Weekly Observer.
