Candidates-33Local candidates for public office gathered on the hottest day of the year (so far) at Liberty Park Tuesday night to take part in and be seen at the Sedalia-Pettis County League of Women Voters’ “Candidate Fair.”

Each candidate who showed up was allowed to speak for three minutes to the small crowd assembled at the big shelter house on Liberty Park Blvd.

By this reporter’s count, 17 candidates were on hand at the bipartisan event, moderated by Mary Marriott. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia Weekly Observer.
