BomberNevada-5The Sedalia Bombers were behind 4-0 in the fifth when the lights went out at Liberty Park Stadium Tuesday night around 8:45 p.m. After a nearly 45-minute delay, the game with the Nevada Griffons was called due to safety concerns when the stadium lights would not all fully illuminate.

The MINK League championship series is set to begin Wednesday night at Dey Field at Liberty Park Stadium at 7 p.m. between the Bombers and the St. Joseph Mustangs. Sedalia is hosting the first game, while Thursday and Friday’s games will be played at St. Jo. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia Weekly Observer.
