Junior Livestock show awards winners

JrLivestock-5The Pettis County 4-H Livestock Show was held Sunday and Monday at the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

Rilee Gerke of Windsor won first place in poultry with her pen of three. It was her first time showing at the event.

Ashley Webb of Dresden won first in Junior Showmanship with her Reserve Champion poultry.

Chase Bybee of Smithton won Champion and Reserve Poultry with his pen of three.

Pettis County Jr. Livestock Sale Results

The Pettis County Jr. Livestock Premium Sale was held Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Missouri State Fairgrounds. The 2014 premium sales total was $82,575 with 80 animals and 76 youth. The sale consisted of one poultry pen, one rabbit pen, eight sheep, eight goats, 28 steers and 30 swine. Thank you to all the buyers who helped to make this event go so well. The following Pettis County 4-H youth were paid premiums for their animals by buyers of the area.
