Two Sedalians arrested on meth charges

Badge-PD-2On 06-14-2014, at approximately 2058 hours, officers from the Sedalia Police Department, Pettis County Sheriff’s Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to 916 South Kentucky Ave. to serve a no knock drug related search warrant. Upon arrival at the residence, entry was made through the front door, where contact was made with two adult subjects inside. The subjects were taken into custody without incident and were identified as:

Paula M. Allen, 40 years old

Ernest L. Motley, 45 years old

A search of the residence revealed a large quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and additional evidence to indicate Allen was distributing methamphetamine and marijuana from the residence. The Smith Cotton Jr. High School is located within 2000 feet of the residence, where the illegal drugs were being distributed. Allen and Motley were arrested at the scene, and were later transported to the Pettis County Jail, where they were placed on 24 hour holds.

— 1st Degree Drug Trafficking

— Distribution Of Methamphetamine Within 2000 Feet Of A School

— Distribution Of Marijuana Within 2000 Feet Of A School

— Possession Of A Controlled Substance (5 Felony Counts)

— Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia

Ernest L. Motley

— Possession Of A Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)

— Possession Of A Controlled Substance (Marijuana)

— Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia
