Last week in Lucas Cattle Company ULMA competition Larry Ferris of Nevada, Missouri became the tenth different winner this season after he claimed his first-ever ULMA win during competition at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. Unfortunately, wet weather claimed two victories, the first on Friday at Callaway Raceway and again on Saturday at Randolph County Raceway in Moberly.

From the latest Lucas Oil Speedway press release, “In ULMA Late Model action, Nevada’s Larry Ferris brought his Buzzard powered mount from his eighth-starting spot to pick up a popular win after overtaking pole sitter and early race leader Brian Schutt.”

J.D. Hubert vaulted to second from his 13th-starting spot. Schutt slipped back to third at the finish. Dwight Niehoff and Phil Edmondson battled to the finish with Niehoff holding on for fourth and Edmondson settling for fifth.” Completing the top ten at the finish were Ethan Young, Chris Cox, Jon Binning, Larry Jones, and Harlen Kennedy.
