Color run to benefit Girl Scout camp

ColorRunA 5K Color Run/Walk will be held Saturday, Aug. 23 to support Girl Scout Camp Sacajawea, it was announced this week.

The event will take place on the upper midway portion of the Missouri State Fairgrounds, with registration at 7:30 a.m. and the run/walk starting at 8:30 a.m.

The top three finishers in each category will receive a medal, it was reported.

Cost is $30 each or $25 per family (three or more members) in advance; $35 each on the day of the race.

All runners must sign a waiver and wear safety goggles to participate, it should be noted.
