City observes National Garden Week

GardenClubProcSedalia Mayor Stephen J. Galliher was joined by members of the Fair City Garden Club on Thursday morning on the lawn of the Sedalia Municipal Building, Second and Osage, for a brief proclamation signing observing National Garden Week, June 1-7.

The Fair City Garden Club, established in 1948, currently has 24 members. The mission statement of the club is “to encourage the growing of better horticulture specimens, and to encourage skill and interest in artistic design.”
