Andrews, Joshua, 24, Sedalia, was sentenced to serve 240 days in jail on a charge of resisting arrest. On August 2, 2013, Pettis County Sheriff’s Dep. Mark Morgan attempted to stop the defendant on Highway E. The defendant fled from the officer at high speeds and ran several stop signs before stopping near Green Ridge. He entered a guilty plea two weeks ago.
Beasley, Chad, 32, Sedalia, entered guilty pleas to two separate burglary charges. He admitted he burglarized a local car dealership as it was undergoing renovation in September of 2013. He also admitted he entered the Sedalia Walmart store February 20 for the purpose of shoplifting after he had been banned from the store. He was sentenced to serve 4 years in prison.
Clark, Ryan, 37, Sedalia, pleaded guilty to attempted stealing and was placed on probation for 5 years. On January 16, landowners near Hughesville caught the defendant trying to steal scrap metal and held him until Sheriff’s Deputies could arrive. Conditions of probation include 120 hours of community service and no contact with a codefendant.
Harris, Brandon, 29, Wyoming, pleaded guilty to driving while revoked, a charge stemming from an April 13 arrest by Sedalia Police Officer Edwin Crampton. The offense was a felony because the defendant has previously pleaded guilty to four offenses. Execution of a 3 year sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on probation for 5 years. He was also sentenced to serve 30 days in jail for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lamb, Jr., William, 46, Marshall, pleaded guilty to felony stealing, admitting that on March 17 he and others stole more than $500 from a Sedalia retail store. He was sentenced to serve 5 years in prison.
Martin, Michael, 18, Sedalia, pleaded guilty to stealing, admitting he stole appliances worth more than $500 from a rental home in February. He was sentenced to serve 3 years in prison, and his probation was revoked on a previous leaving the scene charge.
Winsauer, Charles, 32, Sedalia, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. When the Sedalia Police Department’s S.T.I.N.G. Unit served a search warrant February 6 at a home on South New York, officers found about a gram of methamphetamine in the defendant’s possession. He was sentenced to serve 5 years in prison.
