Grems score 9-2 win over Green Ridge

SH-GR-14The Grems won their 19th consecutive game Monday night as they beat Green Ridge 9-2 in a Kaysinger Conference matchup.

Brendan Volcko was the winning pitcher, throwing six innings and allowing two earned runs on four hits with four walks and three strikeouts.

At the plate Ben Smeltzer was 3-4 with three singles, a stolen base, and three runs scored. Caleb Tanguay was 2-4 with two doubles and three RBI. Clint Spangler was 3-4 with three singles and two RBI and Mason Kelchner was 2-3 with an RBI.

Sacred Heart (19-0) will conclude its regular season on Tuesday, May 13 against New Franklin at Liberty Park at 5 p.m. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia Weekly Observer.
