Roadrunners-logo The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners have signed Taylor McCool of El Dorado, Ark., for the 2014-2015 season.

McCool played for Head Coach Stephen Harshaw at El Dorado High School and helped lead her team to a 24-10 record as a senior.

“Taylor is a very powerful and aggressive player,” said Lady Roadrunners Head Coach Kevin Bucher. “She was a dominant low-post scorer in high school.”

McCool, a 6-3 center, averaged 17.6 points and 13.2 rebounds per game as a senior. She earned 6A First Team All-State recognition twice during her high school career and was a two-time all-conference selection. McCool was named the “Eldorado News-Times” Area Player of the Year. She has been selected to play in the Arkansas Activities Association All-Star Game and is a finalist for the KA-TV McDonald’s Player of the Year.
