SCFierceTiger.BadgeSqSmith-Cotton took part in the SBU (Southwest Baptist University) High School Classic at Bolivar on Tuesday with the following results:

Chance Johnson won the high jump and Luke Guier won the 400 meters in the boys large school division. Smith-Cotton boys took fifth place out of 20 teams participating; the girls finished in 15th place.

“This was a highly competitive meet with 20 schools in our Large School Division. Our girls scored 21 points on 11 entries and the boys scored 48.5 on 33 entries. The ladies scored at a high level and placed in most of their events. The boys, while having some very good individual performances, couldn’t put together a team effort to produce a higher finish,” commented S-C head track coach Brad Hagedorn. SBU 2014 Results
