He told the steps to form, hire personnel, and acquire licenses for the district. He also explained qualifications of an EMT and a paramedic. Questions from members were answered.
The business meeting followed with Carolyn Hays presiding. Carol Klein read the treasurer’s report and Jeanne Curry gave the secretary’s report. Members discussed the April 14 meeting with legislators and current legislation. Members listed volunteer hours and donations.
The next meeting will be at Christ and Trinity Lutheran Church May 21 with Sedalia School District Superintendent Brad Pollitt as guest speaker. All retired school personnel are invited to attend.
