SFCC ag students win national PAS awards

Ag PAS #1State Fair Community College agriculture student Tim Cash won first place in the Agriculture Equipment Service employment interview contest at the national Post-Secondary Agriculture Students Organization (PAS) conference March 11-15 in St. Cloud, Minn.

Other top-five finishers from SFCC included Katie Kirschman, fourth in Feeds and Animal Health employment interview; Ann Crighton, fourth in Floriculture employment interview; Mark Dial, fifth in Forestry and Natural Resources employment interview; and Travis Warner, fourth in Plant Systems career progress. Alex Haun served as a Missouri PAS delegate.

More than 650 students from two- and four-year colleges across the country participated in leadership activities, attended workshops and speeches and took agricultural industry tours.
