Mora woman receives national recognition

QZ3A4027-cd (1) (2)Blair Bergeson, Mora, and Five Star Fancy (aka Boomer) a nine-year old APHA gelding, recently received national recognition from the American Paint Horse Association, Fort Worth, Texas.

Bergeson and Boomer were #1 on APHA’s national honor roll reining, #3 in showmanship, #3 in horsemanship, #11 in hunt seat equitation, #6 in western riding, #16 in trail, #6 in barrel racing and #6 in pole bending. Bergeson was also recognized as being one of the top 20 riders across the nation by finishing eighth overall.

In addition, Bergeson and Five Star Fancy finished #1 in Region Five Zone, consisting of exhibitors in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri competing in the Classic Amateur Division.

Bergeson and Five Star Fancy will be accepting numerous awards from APHA and will be featured in the April edition of the American Paint Horse Journal. –Submitted.
