Sacred Heart golfers take second in quad match

Mergen-1A quad boys golf match was held Monday afternoon at the Sedalia Country Club while wet snowflakes fell on the course. Participating teams were Sacred Heart, Cole Camp, Tipton and Lincoln.

Team scores from the match show that Lincoln was first with a 184, followed by Sacred Heart in second with a 212.

Tipton was third with a 235 and the Cole Camp Bluebirds were fourth with only three golfers (Pritzel, Self and Ohlerichs).

Sacred Heart’s top player was Prenger with a 47, folllowed by Lucchesi with a 50, then Christopher Mergen with a 54.  SH’s Gross carded a 60.

Cole Camp takes on Tipton today at 4 at Triple Creek and they will play Lincoln Monday, March 31. The Bluebirds play Eugene on April 1.

The Gremlins travel to Warrensburg today at 4. Sacred Heart plays at Tipton Monday, March 31. They travel to Cole Camp April 3, playing Cole Camp and Versailles. The Grems play Father Tolton on the road April 10. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia Weekly Observer.

    I wish this paper would have covered the Smithton 3 on 3 tournament. A total of 43 teams. It was very exciting!
