BobThe Missouri School Public Relations Association (MOSPRA) held their annual awards dinner this past week and named Sedalia School’s Bob Satnan “Rookie of the Year.” The award is given to a person who has exhibited a creative, dedicated and professional approach to school public relations in his/her first two years in a school communications position.

Sedalia’s superintendent, Bradley Pollitt, summed up Satnan’s impact on the district in one simple sentence: “We now have a voice – a clear, consistent voice to tell our story and provide answers for our community.”

Since taking on the job of communications, Satnan has engaged the community, established communication channels that are the “must haves” for district information, and has reached out to the media to build bonds to help get the story of the school district out.
