boy20scoutsOn behalf of the Osage Trails District, Boy Scouts of America, let me thank the individuals who contributed generously to the successful Scouting for Food drive, which culminated on Saturday, March 1.

A large number of Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venture Crew members from Osage District participated. Despite the challenges of the weather, about 6,000 pounds of food was collected and distributed to local food pantries. I also want to thank all of the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Crew Scouts and adults who participated in this effort.

This is indeed a worthwhile service project sponsored by the Osage Trails District of the Boy Scouts of America. The local scouts of Osage Trails are already making plans on participating in this worthwhile service project next year.
