Bake sale benefits MS Society

BakeSaleCourtney’s Crew held a bake sale Saturday, March 15 in front of JCPenney with 100 percent of the profits donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, according to organizer Courtney Bell.

From left are Jonzel Washington, Laronda Ptomey, Samantha Gilio and Courtney Bell. They raised over $350 at the bake sale on Saturday.

There will also be a garage sale April 5 where 100 percent of the profits will be donated, and a “Shop to Stop MS” vendor event on April 12 from 1 to 6 p.m. at Convention Hall, she added. The actual walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 in Marshall at Indian Foothills Park.
