WizardOfOz.Lion2.1122Junior Keelly Jones was selected by the Missouri Arts Alliance to travel to Washington D.C. for the National Arts Advocacy Day in March. He will have a chance meet other fine art students across the country, be trained in Arts Advocacy, meet our Missouri’s representatives and senators and much more. Keelly Jones is currently serving as one of four Missouri State Thespians Student Board Members.

Because Keelly’s trip to Washington, D.C., is set for the same weekend that he was scheduled to perform in “The Diary of Anne Frank,” S-C theater teacher Teri Turner said the spring play now will be staged at 7:30 p.m. April 4 and 2 p.m. April 6.

Shown in the photo is Keelly from the theater department’s fall performance of “The Wizard of Oz.” Photo courtesy Sedalia School District 200.
