Binney Cadet of the MonthOn Feb. 22, 2014, Smith-Cotton JROTC cadets competed for the honor of being named “Cadet of the Month.” During this competition, cadets compete before a panel of senior cadets to answer questions pertaining to the JROTC curriculum and current events. This month, JROTC held two boards, one for January and one for February.

Due to the weather conditions, the January Cadet of the Month was rescheduled for February. Cadet Private Logan Tatum from Charlie Company was named Cadet of the Month for January. Cadet Staff Sergeant Matthew Binney from Alpha Company was named Cadet of the Month for February. The Smith-Cotton JROTC program would like to thank the 40 & 8 organization for donating the plaques and the trophies. Congratulations to Cadet Private Tatum and Cadet Staff Sergeant Binney! HOOAH!!
