SFCC to celebrate Homecoming February 22

sfcc_logo1State Fair Community College will celebrate homecoming Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Roadrunner basketball games against the Mineral Area College Cardinals from Park Hills in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus.

The Lady Roadrunners will play at 5:30 p.m. and the Roadrunners will play at 7:30 p.m.

Homecoming royalty will be crowned between the games and there will be a mini float parade. Queen candidates are Beth Cameron, Columbia; Annie Creatore, Sedalia; Laramie Ellis, Monett; Caitlin Mayden, Carrollton; and Amollie Stoermer, Cole Camp. Nominees for king are Joshua Burch, Knob Noster; Michael Holt, Holden; Andrew Murphy, Warsaw; Mike Snow, Warsaw; and Dylan Wittman, Florence.

Two Roadrunner spirit awards sponsored by the Student Government Association and the Athletics Department—the President’s Participation Award and the Rowdie Spirit Award—will be presented to qualifying student clubs or organizations.

Sophomore student athletes and Spirit Squad members will be recognized, and the 2014 inductee to the SFCC Athletics Hall of Fame will be announced.

Regular admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students 13 and older. Children 12 and under and in-district residents 60 and older get in free. SFCC students and employees get in free with a BLUECARD. For more information, call (660) 530-5808, ext. 7443.
