S-C JROTC Raiders receive national champion rings

JROTC.Rings.Trio.0130The 2013 national champion Smith-Cotton JROTC Raider team received their national championship rings during an all-school assembly on Jan. 30 at Smith-Cotton High School.

The team won the title Nov. 2 in Molena, Ga. Members include Alexandria Stewart (commander of the mixed team), Carlie Morris, Cristian Melgar, Austin Chadwick, Brianna Cain, Cristina Tejeda, Rosbel Garza, Bradley Burton (commander of male team), George Gomez, Alex Stevenson, Alberto Madrid, Blaine Sarabia, Steven Bradbury, Joshua Lauer, Jessica Miranda, Austin Rieckhoff, Caleb Hankins, Jonathan Sanchez, Christian Sarabia, Alan Sharp, Luis Estrada, Christopher Hawthorne and Ever Loera. The team is led by Senior Army Instructor LTC (Ret.) Harry Cunningham.
