S-C JROTC team wins big at Leavenworth

Leavenworth 2013On Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 the Smith-Cotton JROTC Drill Team competed at the second annual Leavenworth High School Drill Meet in Leavenworth, Kansas. The Smith-Cotton Drill Team earned the Overall Championship trophy for the second consecutive year.

Earning eleven trophies, which included second in Armed Color Guard, second in Unarmed Color Guard, first in New Platoon, first in Armed Regulation, first and third in Unarmed Regulation, second in Armed Exhibition, first in Unarmed Exhibition, second place overall for Armed Division, first place overall Unarmed Division, and first place Overall Champions.

Congratulations to the members of the Smith-Cotton Drill Team who have been working extremely hard to pursue their goals and are looking forward to competing at Army Nationals in Kentucky in April. HOOAH!
