S-C speech & debate team competes at Lexington

SCFierceTiger.BadgeSqThe Smith-Cotton Speech and Debate team competed at Lexington this past weekend and Kylar McNeal, junior, placed first in Prose and 7seventh in Extemporaneous Speaking.

Darby Simon, sophomore, placed fourth in Prose and Logan Tatum, freshman, placed first in Storytelling.

The team will be competing at Windsor on the Jan. 18, followed by Warrensburg Jan. 24-25.

Teri Turner is the director of Speech and Theatre at Smith Cotton High School.
