Members of Mid-Missouri Artists brought several Christmas gift bags filled with children’s art supplies to the Survival Adult Abuse shelter on Thursday. The bags were filled with crayons, paints, glitters, glue, pencils, markers, scissors, papers for painting, brushes, coloring books, cutouts from mat boards, and other art-related items. Gifts included monetary donations to help the center purchase supplies as needed.
Mid-Missouri Artists has made the donation of children’s art supplies to Survival an annual activity. Materials are used for both recreation and art therapy, for Christmas gifts, and for school supplies needed by children served by Survival.
