The Missouri Dental Hygienists’ Association announces that Linda Hoffmann, RDH of Sedalia was elected as the 2014 1st Vice President and Delegate to the ADHA House of Delegates. There are only three delegates from Missouri to attend the national meeting. Linda is professionally employed by Dr. Greg Cleveland of Warrensburg and SFCC as an adjunct faculty member in their Dental Hygiene Program.
MDHA also announces that Kim Parrott, RDH of Knob Noster is the Chair of the MDHA delegation and that she is a member of the Board of Trustees. However, in the past three years she has been the Vice President of MDHA. At the 2013 Annual Session, under Kim’s leadership, MDHA had the largest attendance in the history of the meeting. Kim is employed by Dr. Ron Hinton of Sedalia-Sweet Springs.
The dental hygiene profession was founded 100 years ago in 1913. Today, there are more than 150,000 registered dental hygienists across the United States. They provide professional oral health care to help people maintain healthy smiles and healthy bodies.
