Lois F. Lees, 75, Sedalia, died on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013 at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home.
She was born on Oct. 21, 1938 in Sedalia daughter of Joseph D. and Letha Wade Lees. Lois was a member of the 1957 graduating class at Smith-Cotton High School. She worked in the laundry department at Bothwell Hospital. She was a member of Parkview Christian Church. She enjoyed walking all over Sedalia and visiting with people. She loved keeping track of her family and she was a caretaker for her mother and older brother. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, a twin sister Louise Brawner and a brother Phillip Wayne Lees (Karen) both of Kansas City, Mo.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 with Rev. Rodney Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the church.
Serving as pallbearers will be Louis Sholly, Jon Lees, Kenny Lees, David Lees, Jerry Lees and Scott Lees. Honorary pallbearer will be Staff Sgt. Zachary Lees. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Parkview Christian Church.
