WARRENSBURG — Kameron Wilson, a native of Clinton, Mo. and former administrator at Windsor Healthcare and Rehab Center has assumed the role of Missouri Veterans Home~Warrensburg Assistant Administrator.

Wilson’s dedication to the healthcare field and particular passion for long term skilled nursing care was fostered as a young child. He began volunteering in the industry at age eight, and continued this role until age 16 when he was hired at a nursing facility in the dietary department.

Serving as a volunteer in the industry as a young man proved pivotal in harnessing Wilson’s calling to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Since that time, he has honed his skills with a depth and breadth of expertise that includes roles ranging from dishwasher, cook, housekeeper, and laundry aide, all the way to Dietary Director, Environmental Services Director, and Administrator.

All of Wilson’s professional experience has focused on providing quality care to the elderly and advocating for quality of life initiatives designed to benefit clients and their family members.

By 2015, he will hold a Master’s Degree in Gerontology and accompanying Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration.

“We’re excited about the experience, enthusiasm and professionalism Kameron brings to the table,” said Eric Endsley, Missouri Veterans Home~Warrensburg Administrator. “These past few weeks, he’s quickly immersed himself in our organizational culture of excellence and compassion, and we look forward to the new ideas and trajectories certain to accompany his leadership role.”
