Melita Day Child Development Center (formerly Melita Day Nursery) held their ninth annual Cookie Walk Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Parkhurst Commons in the Stauffacher Center for the Fine Arts at State Fair Community College.

SFCC Nursing students as well as Melita Day staff helped replenish the supply of donated goods as they were sold.

Melita Cookiewalk estimated figures are well over $3,000 so far. Last year was the best year in the last nine when over $4,300 was raised.

Melita Day Nursery is a not-for-profit day care and preschool that has been serving Sedalia families since 1910. In 1996 the center moved to the campus of State Fair Community College and is now known as “Melita Day Child Development Center.” The center partners with Early Head Start to provide quality care and education to Sedalia children.
