Vladislav Husyev, a seventh grader at Smith-Cotton Junior High School, displays his U.S. Constitution poster design, which was a grade-level finalist in the Eighth Annual GovDoc Kids Group U.S. Constitution Day Poster Contest.

According to junior high art teacher Kim Henderson, “The contest invites K-12 entrants (including homeschoolers) to celebrate Constitution Day (Sept. 17) by designing a poster showing how they benefited from the freedoms embodied in the U.S. Constitution.”

Vlad’s poster and other winners can be seen at constitutionday.cc under the heading Poster Design Contest 2013 Winners. Photo courtesy Sedalia School District 200.
