Lakers top Roadrunners, 113-108, at Moberly Classic

The State Fair Community College Roadrunners lost to the Lakeland College Lakers, 113-108, on Friday afternoon in the Moberly Classic.

SFCC’s Kevin Punter was the high scorer for the Roadrunners, with 23 points, followed by Joseph Thomasson with 21. Kedar Edwards scored 19 points for his team, while Deron Hill scored 15.

Punter is still the high scorer for the season so far with 226 points accumulated for his team, with an average of 20.5 points per game. Thomasson is in second place with 153, or 17 points average per game.

They played Highland on Saturday, Nov. 30.

The SFCC men are now 8-3 on the season.

The men return to play Iowa Western Community College at home at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3.
