The State Fair Community College Roadrunners suffered an 83-74 loss to Johnson County Community College Cavaliers Wednesday night at home. Shown surrounded by Cavaliers is SFCC’s Isaac Freeman.

This is the first meeting between the schools since the 2003-2004 season when the Roadrunners and Cavaliers split a pair of games. Each team won on its home floor; Johnson County won the first matchup 71-55, and SFCC won in overtime 72-65.

SFCC plays in the Coffeyville Classic Nov. 22-23, and in the Moberly Classic Nov. 29-30.

The Roadrunners are on the road until Dec. 3, when they play Iowa Western Community College at 7 p.m. at home. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia News Journal.
