40 & 8 commander honored by S-C Tigers

40 & 8 Commander Tony Gallagher was honored with the prestigious Tiger Award during a Veteran’s Day ceremony held at Smith-Cotton High School, 2010 Tiger Pride Boulevard, on Monday, Nov. 11.

Vets were fed breakfast in the cafeteria before being recognized in the gym during a 45-minute ceremony, which included the playing of the service hymn for each branch of the US military while the S-C JROTC displayed the colors.

S-C Principal Wade Norton welcomed those in attendance.
