Florine E. Edwards, 91, of Clinton, formerly of Sedalia, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.
Born Aug. 19, 1922 in Sedalia, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Florence Figler Wareham. On Oct. 9, 1943 in Sedalia, she married Clarence E. Edwards, who preceded her in death on March 1, 1979.
She is survived by two daughters; Pamela J. Bultmann and husband Terry, of Kearney, and Karen McCumber and husband Kenneth, of Clinton; two sisters, Thelma Wareham, of Aledo, Texas and Ruth Ann Bohon, of Sedalia; seven grandsons, one granddaughter, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-granddaughters.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Vaughn E. Edwards on June 5, 2007; three sisters, Charline Stewart, Lucille Frank and Beatrice Jenkins; and a great-granddaughter, Emmalee Ann Bultmann.
Mrs. Edwards was raised and educated in Sedalia. She was a good Christian woman who had a strong faith. Her world revolved around her family, and she loved them all very much.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lee Roy Goodwin officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
