Five S-C volleyers receive all-conference honors

Five Smith-Cotton Volleyball players have received all-conference honors from West Central Conference.

Abby Knight, Courtney Koetting and Bailey Curry received First Team All-Conference honors. Hannah Woolery and Kali Edwards received Honorable Mention All-Conference.

Abby Knight was added to first team all-conference. She finished the season with 316 kills, with a 53-percent kill rate. Abby scored 132 points, serving 25 aces. She missed one serve the entire season. She had the most blocks for the team with 59 kill blocks. Abby also had 212 digs for the team with the lowest error percentage on digs for the team this season. Abby had 102 perfect passes and was ranked first on her team for best pass rating of 2.30 out of 3.0.

Courtney Koetting earned her spot into all-conference by earning 232 service points for her team this season with a team high 70 aces. She led the team in assists with 410 assists with an average of 6.2 per game. She ranked 2nd in serve receive with a rate of 2.23 out of 3.0, was 2nd in kills with 83 kills for the season and had 132 digs for the team.

Bailey Curry was the third recipient for all-conference team. Bailey won 152 points for her team with 41 aces. She led the team with 335 digs. She had a pass rating of 1.94 out of 3.0 and had 131 perfect passes. Bailey was also a force at the net and earned 63 kills for the team.

Senior Hannah Woolery earned honorable mention. She had 242 assists for the season with an average of 4.3 assists per game. She ranked third on attacks with 70 kills. She had 103 digs for the season. She earned 21 aces and 85 service points for her team.

Senior Kali Edwards also won an honorable mention award. Kali had 55 kills and nine kill blocks at the net. Kali also had 76 digs and earned 79 points for her team this season.
