Warrensburg man arrested for possession of child pornography

Captain Sarah L. Eberhard, director of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control announces the arrest of Andrew Ray Jr., 52, of Warrensburg, Mo., on five counts of possession of child pornography.

The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Division of Drug and Crime Control’s Digital Forensics Unit. Ray is being held in the Johnson County Jail on a $150,000 bond. Assisting in the investigation was the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department and the Warrensburg Police Department.

The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of these charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
