American Legion Post 16 recently donated approximately $4,000.00 to the Smith-Cotton High School JROTC program in order to purchase 30 drill rifles for the Armed Drill Team. Mr. George Fairfax accepted an award from the drill team on Oct. 30 in appreciation for this generous donation.

Mr. Fairfax said, “I wish I would have had JROTC when I went to Smith-Cotton High School. It is a great honor to help the cadets in the JROTC program.” Smith-Cotton JROTC would like to thank Mr. Fairfax and American Legion Post #16 for their continued support of the JROTC program. HOOAH!!!
