A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house were held Thursday, Oct. 24 to celebrate the new Sedalia office location of Midwest Computech. Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau staff and ambassadors joined Midwest Computech employees, friends, customers and vendors to cut the ceremonial ribbon. The afternoon included tours of the new facility, refreshments, networking and lots of laughter.
Founded in 1982 as a small typewriter company, Midwest Computech has been a fixture in the Sedalia economy for over 30 years. Previously, the computer services business was housed in the State Fair Shopping Center. The new office is located at 1501 W. 32nd Street, Sedalia.
