The annual Taste of Sedalia Food Fair, held Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the Ag Building on the Missouri State Fairgrounds, drew 416 hungry people eager to sample the culinary goods offered by 21 vendors to those who paid the $12 admission ($10 in advance) to take part in the event.

The People’s Choice Awards determined that Bing’s was first place, Patricia’s Mexican Resturant was second place and Martha’s Tamales was third.

The food fair was hosted by the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce and also featured musical entertainment from the Smith-Cotton High School Jazz Band. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia News Journal.
