Lady Grems sweep Stover

Sacred Heart volleyball beat Stover at home Oct. 17.

Sacred Heart varsity won 25-21, 20-25, 25-21.

Morgan Bogue had 12 kills, with 5 each coming in sets 1 and 3, and 23 digs. Becky Full had 12 kills, 16 digs & 2aces. Honor Kehde had 2 kills, 16 digs & 29 assists. Grace Callis had 7 kills, 1 block, 2 digs and 2 assists. Anna Callis had 7 kills, with 4 kjlls coming in pivotal 3rd set, 2 digs, and 2 assists. Erin O’Connor had 8 digs and 2 assists. Elizabeth Freels had 7 digs & 2 aces. Julie Chancellor had 6 digs and 1 ace. Hannah Wilhoit had 4 kills 2 blocks and 1 dig. Bea Coruna had 3 digs.

“The girls approached this match with a lot of focus when it would have been easy to be thinking about all of the homecoming activities going on. I am very proud of the girls we bent but refused to break,” said head coach David Fall.

Sacred Heart Junior High won 2-1.

The Sacred Heart JV won in three intense sets. This set the tone for the upcoming varsity match. Scores were 25-14, 18-25, 26-24.

“The girls showed a lot of heart tonight battling through three close sets, to take the match.” They were exciting games to watch,” commented head coach David Fall.
