On Saturday, two Smith-Cotton High School students were named to the 2014 Missouri All-State Choir.

Senior Kathleen Matz was selected in the alto section and senior Justin Pripusich is the first alternate for the bass section. S-C Director of Vocal Music Christopher Kindle said there were about 175 students in the All-District Choir and only six from each section are selected for All-State honors, four performers and two alternates.

“I am very pleased that Smith-Cotton will be respresetned once again in this prestigious choir,” Kindle said. “This is ultimately the highest honor a vocal student can receive while in high school.” Photo courtesy Sedalia School District 200.
