Then Cooper scored again on assist from Spangler. Spangler then found the net on an assist from Cooper to give the Gremlins a 4-0 lead at the half.

During the second half, Spangler again found the net on an assist from Jimmy Villalobos. A foul in the box gave St. Paul their first score of the game on a penalty kick. Then Villalobos was able to make an off the ball run through the defense to add the Gremlins sixth goal. St. Paul was able to score a couple more late in the contest before Spangler picked up a loose ball at the top of the box and scored to complete his hat trick for the evening. Mason Kelchner once again had an outstanding performance in the net for the Gremlins despite playing with a broken nose.
