On Oct. 24, the Benton County Republican Club is hosting Mindy Patterson President and Co-Founder of the Cavalry Group, a private member-based company dedicated to advancing the constitutional rights of law-abiding animal owners, animal-related businesses, and agricultural concerns.
Patterson has battled against the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) on the state referendum front serving as the campaign manager for The Alliance for Truth Campaign Committee which was at the forefront of the hard fought campaign opposing the HSUS-driven “Puppy Mill Cruelty Prevention Act” (Proposition B) in the Missouri 2010 election and recently helped defeat the HSUS-sponsored “Your Vote Counts” referendum promoting direct democracy.
Senator Mike Parson (R-28) and Representative Warren Love (R-125) will also be part of the program.
The event will be at the River Church in Warsaw from 7 to 9 p.m. The River Church is located off Highway 65 on 28863 Commercial Avenue, Warsaw.
The program is made possible by support from Protect the Harvest, http://protecttheharvest.com/ and Benton County Farm Bureau, Warsaw.
